State of the Dental Industry
The 2012 Annual Practice Survey conducted by Dental Economics and Levin Group revealed that dentistry has had another challenging economic year. Both gross production per doctor and average doctor income have decreased. On the other hand, average overhead is down and the fee collection rate is up. The dentists are less optimistic as they have to deal with higher levels of stress. However, Dr. Levin remains very optimistic about the long-term outlook for the profession.
